Outcomes

Due to chronic arthritis, Margaret came to us with walking difficulties, dragging her legs as she mobilised. She loved shopping but, as her situation deteriorated, she needed to stop and rest every 15 minutes.

Her physical condition was having a negative impact on her quality of life, which was affecting her psychologically too.

Margaret's H2O Physio programme included underwater treadmill sessions to enable her to walk without pain and enjoy all the benefits of exercise. She also had time in the infrared sauna as the heat is able to penetrate much deeper, promoting healing and relieving pain.

Margaret's condition has improved a great deal and she is now able to manage a couple of hours at Merry Hill Shopping Centre. To manage her arthritis and keep well, Margaret has opted to keep going with her sessions.
